Coffee is a an incredibly sociable product and we believe that training people in coffee leads to a better way of life, and a route into sustainable employment. This is why we’re so delighted to be working with and supplying The Feed.

All our coffee is locally roasted at our roastery in North Norfolk, and we welcome visitors at any time! We roast to order and this ensures that our coffee is always fresh and at its best.

When our coffee reaches you it is never more than a couple of days old (the time it takes to breathe) whereas many industrially roasted coffees can be weeks or even months old before they are delivered and consumed.

Coxford’s Butchers are a long established local business, run by Johnny and Jason who have worked in the shop since leaving school. Their aim is to supply their customer with the very best, locally produced meats.

They are proud of the traditional way they work, but also in the manner in which they are embracing more modern cuts and methods of preparation. The Feed is always proud to serve meat provided by Coxford’s, and we are also grateful for their unfailing support with our fundraising campaigns.

Coxford’s Butchers continue to go from strength to strength, and have recently been awarded the ‘Proudly Norfolk’ accolade. This is a labelling scheme set up by Norfolk Food & Drink for Norfolk producers to acknowledge their passion and the integrity of the product they are producing.

For over 30 years, Brown & May have been supplying fresh fish, seafood and a large range of speciality products to the catering industry.

They are based in Eye, Suffolk, and have been extremely supportive of The Feed and its Flourish Employment Academy members, not least with the provision of workshops training our participants in the skills of the fishmonger.

Bread Source, a Norfolk artisan bakery aims to bring hand-crafted, additive free, wholesome bread to the county. They have a bakery in Horsham St. Faiths where they bake bread and viennoiserie daily for weekly markets, cafés, delis, hotels and their shop in Aylsham.

Bread Source has its own mill, in which they mill Norfolk-grown wheat and barley to produce flour both used in their bakery and to sell to customers for home baking. They pride themselves on being able to tell their customers the exact location of the field the grain is grown in and even the name of the farmer who grew it!

Natural yeast and fermentation are at the heart of everything that Bread Source creates, with each loaf shaped by hand, risen slowly and baked on the stone sole of their oven.
